Common methods of Grinding process (2)
Grinding cylinder:
The grinding of cylindrical surface is generally done by hand and machine with grinding sleeve (grinding ring). When grinding the outer cylindrical surface, the workpiece is turned by the lathe, and the abrasive agent is evenly coated on the workpiece, and the grinding sleeve moves reciprocally along the axis. The rotation speed of the workpiece should be controlled by the diameter of the workpiece. When the diameter is less than φ80mm, the rotation speed is 100r/min, and when the diameter is greater than φ100mm, the rotation speed is 50r/min. When 45° cross mesh road appears, it indicates that the grinding sleeve moving speed is appropriate. Grinding the inner cylinder is the opposite of grinding the outer cylinder. It is carried out by setting the workpiece on the grinding rod, which is clamped on the lathe chuck.
Grinding cone:
Grinding of workpiece conical surface, including conical hole and outer conical surface grinding. Grinding must be used with the workpiece taper of the same grinding rod or grinding ring, the structure of the fixed and adjustable two.
The surface of the fixed cone grinding rod is provided with a spiral groove, and the rotation direction is left and right.
When grinding, make contact between the tool and the workpiece cone, turn it in one direction by hand for 3 ~ 4 times, make the cone separate, and then push it into the grinding. Some workpiece surfaces are ground directly in contact with each other to achieve seal, without the use of grinding rods or grinding rings.
Grinding steel ball:
The grooved plate is placed on the bench, the abrasive agent and the steel ball into the plate groove, covered with a grooveless plate, promote the grooveless plate, for the plane reciprocating rotation motion to grind.
V-groove grinding:
The two pegs with the same Angle as the V-shaped groove are installed on the bottom plate to adjust the required distance and height error, and then tighten the screws to grind. This method is suitable for mass production.
