Polishing wax
Polishing wax is also called polishing wax or polishing paste. It is a kind of abrasive that is similar to soap for polishing metal, plastic crafts, resin, porcelain imitation ware, wood lacquer and other products.
choose
Judging the merits and demerits of a polished wax can be started from the refraction rate, iodine value and freezing point (also known as solubility point). First of all, the polishing wax with high refractive rate makes it have excellent lighting effect. The polishing wax with high iodine value can make the polished workpiece have the effect of jet black, and the polishing wax with high freezing point can improve its surface hardness, so as to improve its service life.
Constituent structure
The quality of polishing wax is closely related to the formula and manufacturing process, which is generally composed of oil and powder. Oil is generally stearic acid, petroleum jelly, paraffin, rosin, etc.; Powder contains more items, quartz powder, iron oxide series, alumina, brown corundum and so on. When making, all kinds of oil should be fully dissolved, powder should be put into the reaction axe in a certain order, and the mold can be produced after being fully stirred.
Polishing method
Polishing wax generally comes in four colors: yellow, purple, white and green. When used, it is usually used with cloth grinding wheel, hemp wheel or pure cotton wheel. There are three processes of coarse, medium and fine grinding. The product is roughed with yellow polishing wax and cloth grinding wheel; Grinding the product with purple polishing wax; Use white or green polishing wax for fine grinding or mirror grinding of the product, the difference between the two is that the former produces white light, the latter produces green light.
